Eligibility

school

Open to MD (General Medicine), DM/DNB (Gastroenterology) qualified doctors and final-year residents. Basic programmes require no prior endoscopy experience; advanced therapeutic tracks require documented basic endoscopy caseload.

Day-wise curriculum

Day 1

Scope handling & simulator practice

Endoscope orientation, navigation drills on simulators.

Day 2

Observed live procedures

Shadowing faculty during diagnostic upper and lower GI cases.

Day 3

Supervised hands-on cases

Performing supervised steps in live endoscopy cases.

Certification

On completion, trainees receive a Solace Training Academy certificate of participation, signed by the pillar director, naming the programme, dates, and hours of hands-on exposure completed.

In a batch of 6, each trainee gets individual scope time daily on real patients. Over a 3-day program, trainees typically complete 8-12 independent upper GI scopes.

Dr. Nitin Gupta (DM Gastroenterology, 22 years, Gold Medalist) and Dr. Tarun Kumar (DM Gastroenterology, ERCP & EUS specialist) lead all endoscopy programs at Solace.

MD Medicine, DM Gastroenterology residents, DNB physicians and practicing gastroenterologists are eligible. MS Surgery graduates interested in endoscopy are also welcome.
