Foundation orientation to the robotic surgical platform, covering console familiarization and system docking.
Eligibility
Open to MS/DNB/M.Ch. qualified surgeons across General Surgery, GI Surgery, Gynaecology, or Urology with prior open or laparoscopic operative experience. No prior robotic console experience required for the orientation programme.
Day-wise curriculum
Console & system orientation
Docking, instrument exchange, 3D vision system familiarization.
Simulator drills
Dry-lab exercises on the robotic simulator to build console fluency.
Observed live robotic cases
Console-side observation during live robotic-assisted procedures.
Certification
On completion, trainees receive a Solace Training Academy certificate of participation, signed by the pillar director, naming the programme, dates, and hours of hands-on exposure completed.
