Eligibility

school

Open to MS/DNB/M.Ch. qualified surgeons across General Surgery, GI Surgery, Gynaecology, or Urology with prior open or laparoscopic operative experience. No prior robotic console experience required for the orientation programme.

Day-wise curriculum

Day 1

Console & system orientation

Docking, instrument exchange, 3D vision system familiarization.

Day 2

Simulator drills

Dry-lab exercises on the robotic simulator to build console fluency.

Day 3

Observed live robotic cases

Console-side observation during live robotic-assisted procedures.

Certification

On completion, trainees receive a Solace Training Academy certificate of participation, signed by the pillar director, naming the programme, dates, and hours of hands-on exposure completed.

Yes. The Robotic Surgery Orientation Programme at Solace Training Academy is led by Dr. Vikrant Sharma, an officially certified SSI Mantra proctor. Credentialling documentation is provided.

Training uses the SSI Mantra robotic surgical system (India's indigenous platform, CE marked and FDA cleared) with simulator and live console time.

Prior laparoscopy is helpful but not mandatory for the orientation. Robotic ergonomics are actually easier for many surgeons than conventional laparoscopy.
